Sunken Cheek - "From Behind" flexi 7"
During the calm one may not feel the tap until it's too late. The realization that in your safest moments you are at risk. A lull replaced by a tense gnawing, the spectre draws ever more near.
This paranoid blackout is the latest single from Sunken Cheek, another tension-filled installment in an ongoing exploration of anxiety. This meditation on fear/mortality was crafted from microphone feedback, vocals, and tape recordings with effects processors. Temporary constructs made briefly tangible.

A sample of 'It's Shadow Lies Drunk at its Feet' from the lathe 7” was featured in Justin Lakes' masterfully crafted mix for Blackened Disco of Midwestern noise artists.
